Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. Our commitment

ClearShield Auto Glass LLC is committed to making our website and our mobile auto glass services accessible to people with disabilities. We believe every Florida driver should be able to find us, request a quote, schedule a mobile visit, and read the information they need, regardless of how they use the web or how they communicate with our team.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We design and build with it in mind, listen when customers tell us something is hard to use, and update the site as we find issues. The commitments below describe how we approach that work today.

2. Website accessibility goal

Our goal is to make this website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We treat WCAG 2.2 AA as a technical reference for our design, development, and content work.

We do not claim that the site is fully accessible or that it currently meets WCAG 2.2 AA in every part. Accessibility work is iterative, and we are at different stages of progress on different pages and features. Where you find something that does not work for you, please tell us using the contact method below so we can fix it.

3. What we do

As part of this work we aim to:

  • Provide a skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
  • Keep a logical heading structure and descriptive link text on every page
  • Provide meaningful alternative text for images and other non-text content
  • Associate form fields with visible labels and clear error messages
  • Make all interactive elements reachable and usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • Aim for color contrast that meets WCAG 2.2 AA for text and key controls
  • Support pinch-to-zoom and reflow on mobile devices without loss of content
  • Respect the prefers-reduced-motion browser setting so non-essential animation does not run for users who have asked for less motion
  • Allow the preloader and other decorative animations to be skipped or reduced

4. What we do not claim

To keep this statement accurate, we do not claim that:

  • The website is fully accessible in every respect or for every user
  • The website is certified, independently audited, or formally verified as compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, or any specific legal standard
  • The website will work perfectly with every assistive technology, browser, or combination of settings
  • All third-party content we link to or embed is accessible. We cannot control the accessibility of sites we do not own

5. Service accessibility

Because our work is mobile, we come to your driveway, workplace, or roadside. If a part of scheduling, paperwork, or the install itself is hard for you to manage, please tell us in advance and we will do our best to make reasonable adjustments. Examples of things we have been able to help with include scheduling a longer on-site window, communicating in writing rather than by phone, and coordinating with a family member or caregiver.

6. Reporting an accessibility issue

If you run into a barrier on this website, or need help getting information, requesting a quote, or scheduling service, please get in touch. We take every report seriously and will do our best to respond and to fix the issue.

What to include

To help us act quickly, please include the following:

  • The page URL where you had the problem
  • A short description of what you were trying to do and what went wrong
  • Your preferred contact method (email, phone, or text) and the best time to reach you

If you can, it is also helpful (but optional) to share the browser and version you were using, and the name and version of any assistive technology such as a screen reader, switch input, or magnification tool. This information helps us reproduce and confirm the issue, but please do not skip reporting if you do not have those details.

How to contact us

We will read every message. Please give us a reasonable time to respond, and tell us if the issue is urgent so we can prioritize.

7. Compatibility

This website is designed to work with current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers, including recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, alongside commonly used assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Older browsers and older assistive technology versions may not give the same experience, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with every combination.

8. Third-party content

Some parts of the site are provided by third parties we do not control. Examples include the map on our Service Areas page, the lead-capture endpoint that processes quote requests, and any social media or video embeds. Where we are responsible for the integration, we aim to make it usable. The accessibility of the underlying third-party service itself is governed by that provider.

9. Changes to this statement

We may update this statement as our practices evolve. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the revision.

10. More information

This statement follows the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidance on creating accessibility statements. If you would like to learn more about web accessibility standards, the W3C WAI website is a good starting point.
